On April 4 and 5, 2019, we carried out a preparation activity for the next Erasmus+ ROOTS meeting in Spain, with 20 students from 2ºESO, 3ºESO and 1ºBACHILLERATO. We moved by boat from Santa Pola and once on the island of Tabarca we made a historical, biological and geological route (Sara Espinar, Biology). In addition, the teachers Ángela Francés (P.E.), José Luis Albors (English) and José Ángel Molina (Economy and coordinator of ROOTS in our school), were collecting details to prepare the visit of our partners in 2020. We stayed in the CEAM of the City Council of Alicante. In the afternoon homemade astrolabes were built, their usefulness and functioning were explained and samples collected during the day were observed under a microscope. At night we observed the stars trying to apply the knowledge about orientation and we performed dynamics to get to know each other. The next day we made a route around the island, visiting the coves and caves of greatest interest, aboard Paddle Surf boards. In the afternoon we returned to Santa Pola and later to Torrellano. Everything was collected in photos and recorded on Wikiloc by the coordinator.#ErasmusPlusES#MiErasmusPlus#ErasmusPlus
